On February 6, 2024, at K-Town Square, Vinhomes Ocean Park 2, Korea Global School Hanoi (KGS Hanoi), part of the Korea Global School international school system, organized the Vietnamese New Year Festival – Korean Essence. The event saw the participation of a diverse community of teachers and students, predominantly Korean students. The Vietnamese New Year Festival – Korean Touch offered unique educational experiences to honor and promote the traditional cultures of Korea and Vietnam, along with engaging activities to welcome the new year 2024.

Principal Yi Sang Hwa of KGS Hanoi emphasized, “The Tet festival is one of the school’s annual activities. Our goal is to enhance students’ knowledge of different cultures through diverse educational experiences, fostering adaptability, confidence, and teamwork skills. This is crucial for preparing them to become global citizens.”
